CANADA HEALTHCARE WORKERS PRESS CONFERENCE AT ONTARIO LEGISLATURE
Health Workers Alliance For Palestine and GLIA International - a medical humanitarian organization, held a press conference on Monday October 21, in front of the Ontario legislature. The doctors and healthcare workers were urging the Canadian government to intervene under a duty of care, after Israel banned medical missions and international doctors and nurses from entering Gaza. As a signatory to the 4th Geneva Convention, Canada has a duty of care to make sure that international human rights laws are upheld and not violated. Speaking as a member of Health Workers Alliance for Palestine was Toronto psychiatrist, Daniel Rosenbaum.
