Death House V2.0
Today, I revisit a map I originally made over two years ago and a very iconic dungeon from Curse of Strahd - Death House! As you can imagine, a lot of love went into mapping out all five levels of this location, and as such, today's release is the house only. I'll be working on the basement dungeon for my next map. But I think you'll enjoy the huge level of detail I added to each corner of the Durst Manor, including an extended yard.
I wanted to give you some area outside of the manor for your players to interact with Rose & Thorn just outside of the gates. I know a lot of players like to scope out the location, so now they have the full yard to peer through windows. I also wanted to nestle this location within the pine forests of the Old Svalich Woods to keep the house feeling isolated and creepy.
Another important detail I tweaked a bit was I made the size of the house slightly larger than gridded out in the book. Only by a square or two on the sides, but that was just enough to give me a tad more mapping room as I felt the original house layout was a bit too small.
