Clean well kept park. Has a well maintained visitor center which has a large fire place for winters. Beach is safe for children and life guards are on duty. Lots of picnic areas as well as quiet places where you can bring a chair and a book and sit in peaceful surroundings around the lake. Easy trail around the lake, about 1 mile. You can bring your canoe and fishing is allowed.
