Crow Attacks Mourning Dove Nest
Crows are one of many predators that can attack nests, including those of mourning doves. Crows can take chicks from nests, and fledged chicks are vulnerable to many predators because they are still learning to fly. Some say that crows have attacked their mourning dove nests, and one person reported that crows picked up and ate two of their baby doves. .
