The Enzoni cocktail is actually a variation of the Negroni, which itself is a beloved Italian cocktail dating back to the early 20th century. The Negroni traditionally consists of gin, sweet vermouth, and Campari, garnished with an orange peel. The Enzoni, on the other hand, swaps out sweet vermouth for grapes, lemon and simple, giving it a slightly different profile while maintaining that perfect balance of bitter and sweet flavors. This variation created in 2000 in London by Enzo Errico was to bring the English clientele closer to a more Italian taste than British.
