A video showing the progress of my research into the original Cavern Club...
This basic video shows a cross
section of the original Cavern
Club, concentrating on the
original structure. The row of
piers between tunnel #1 and #2
have been shortened to get a
better view.
Tunnel #2 has the stage at one end
(with several rows of chairs in front
of the stage) and the cargo drop
at the other end. You can also see
the doorway to the men's and
ladies' toilet.
Tunnel #3 has the band room at
one end and cloakroom #2 at
the other (with the toilets behind
cloakroom #2), with a dance area
and benches.
Not shown is tunnel #1, which
has the stairs/pay desk area,
cloakroom #1, a smaller dance
area, and the snack bar.
