How to Draw Romance (drawing tips)

Step 1: If someone asked you to visualize the idea of ROMANCE, what would you draw? How about a couple sitting on a couch? However, because this is a doodle, we will need to make it very simple and straightforward. Begin by drawing the back of the couch. Notice how the bottom corners are straight while the top corners of the couch are rounded.
Step 2: Use a combination of arc shapes and curved lines to draw the first person of our couple. Notice that in this doodle we can only see the person’s head, left shoulder, and right arm.

Step 4: To show that this is a romantic situation, let’s add a love heart between the two heads. Notice in the example how the love heart is directly in the middle of our two heads.
Step 5: Add the finishing touches to your doodle by giving it some romantic color. 🙂 And there we have it. This is our simple doodle of ROMANCE. It’s very straightforward but immediately gets the message across that this is a romantic situation. How many other ways can you think of to draw the idea of romance?
