Terrorist activities have surged in Pakistan, with the country experiencing a notable increase in attacks. In August 2024, there were a total of 59 terrorist attacks across the country, compared to 38 in the previous month.
Of these incidents, 28 occurred in Balochistan, according to the digital database of security incidents managed by the Pak Institute for Peace Studies (PIPS), an Islamabad-based think tank.
