Because Chillax have been set for cooperative gameplay, there is not enough ammo to complete any maps without setting the "Item Respawn" option on. (It does not include the Invulnerability Sphere nor the Invisibility one) Some maps have even been made with this parameter in mind.
(It seems this one is set on 16:9... No idea why)

Good evening fellow doomers ! Yup, back to speedrun challenges. Altough I have absolutely no idea about when will the next vid be published, I keep trying finding time to record some maps, so stay tuned and sorry for the long awaiting...
So, I wanted to go back to my last attempts on map 29 of Dark Tartarus, but due to a lack of interest (and the fact it is not that simple...) I finally tried a Chillax one, for once. Some dude asked for a map 25, and, even if it was not really in my plan, I decided to give it a try. So here it is !

About the level : Atypical level of Chillax. An almost completely opened map, a huge load of F_SKY1, and very few structures. Of course I expected the run to be long as always (despite having 5 simple areas, remember what wad it is guys ? Eh.) Not a bad atmosphere, though the layout is clearly basic. Concerning the gameplay, it mainly consists of big spams of monsters (2x160 HKs, 76+196 Revenants, and above all, those 4x16 Pain Fucking Elementals), so it isn't what I would call a nice-balanced gameplay. Thus I doubt if it's interesting to watch, but here it is anyway.

About the run : Starting point is a big mess. 90% of chances to die without escaping those demons (for me at least) so it's kinda boring to start this way. The rest is kinda easy however, if you're able to dodge cybers, and to rj above the rev after the blue key trap. One hour long, still. Wew...

Also, please forgive me about the little interlude around an hour of playing. I wasn't sure if I could execute the maze trick without falling, that's why I decided to save the game just in case, as I would not call those pits an important part of the gameplay (I'd rather focus on fights, so I wouldn't really mind if I needed to retry the pit once or twice... Note that this haven't happened at all during this record, yay !)
So just to clarify : I tried to save the game before the last maze run, and for an unknown reason it blocked the screen. So I had to redo all the map to get a proper save at the same point. You can notice the save game completely and simply disappeared of my autosave files... So I have no idea why it happened, but as it was at the end of the map and the rest I had to do was clearly easy, I hope you won't mind of this little trouble...
