Rokurou's final mystic arte is a bit seldom seen if he is controlled by the AI most the game. To activate, you must press the Mystic Arte button (default R2) during his Break Soul: Vengeful Retribution. But that's easier said than done during the main story. Doing so requires enough Soul and also patience with his parry. Having some good enhanced equipment really helps so you can increase the number of souls you fight with as well as giving him skills to not consume souls while using a Break Soul (max 30%). As for parrying, remember that in order to activate his second level break soul counterattack, Vengeful Scourge, you need to activate Vengeful Punishment first and also not take damage between the two moves. They don't need to be done within the same combo, so just be patient and watch for enemy crowd control. Notice how the time stamps of each activation have different lengths. Rokurou is meant to overwhelm multiple enemies with his fast attacks and parry.
