Crazed Visions - "Origins" [2023] - NEW SINGLE
Crazed Visions is a DIY indie rock band from Altoona, PA, composed of members Matthew Cain (creator), Justin Cain, Ian Wissinger, Guy Mauro, and Sascha Frost. This is our first single as a full-band, and we will be releasing a 12-track album next month on March 21st. We have put a lot of love into this project and really hope that you will check it out! A word from creator Matthew Cain -
"Through art, we are able to connect and express complex emotions that break through blocks in communication, translating the depth of feelings we all unknowingly share. “Origins” is our single which my band Crazed Visions is releasing one month before our album “Love War” releases on March 21st, 2023. For me, this song speaks about a lost connection to our Source, “our wilderness, our understanding”, a complex pain that exists between people who refuse to have the difficult conversations and experiences necessary to continue evolving, growing and healing together. To quote Bob Dylan, “All my songs are protest songs.” But this song especially is a protest against this deep personal loss. All of us have secrets, secret pains, monsters beneath our beds and in our closets, within our subconsciousness. The more you try to ignore them, the bigger they become until they destroy relationships, ecosystems, and eventually our world. But through all of this I am resigned to be an advocate for our source, our planet, and most of all, our love, “these origins we have denied.”"
