The #1 question I get from people seeing my Excel templates is "why not just use PowerBI or Tableau?" It seems like a purpose-built BI tool would always be better, right?
I've found that many clients either can't access a BI tool due to compliance issues or just don't have the bandwidth to train their team on another system. But almost all of them have access to Excel and a decent level of proficiency.
Sometimes you need to make the most out of the systems that are available. Excel is capable of much more than people realize.
