SETTING ‘BGN’ AND ‘END’ MODES
The Steps:
1) Press “2nd” to access the shift/2nd function
2) Press “BGN” (above the Payment button)
It should now display ‘BGN’ of ‘END’ to show what mode your in now Press “2nd”
4) Press “SET” (above the ENTER button)
The mode show now switch to the other
5) Press “CE|C” to get back to your workspace

USING ‘BGN’ AND ‘END’ MODES
In the financial world, annuity products and contracts can vary depending on when payments are made.
An 'Annuity' is when payments/cash flows occur at the end of the period.
E.g. a loan repayments or saving account interest
An 'Annuity Due' is when payments/cash flows occur at the beginning of the period.
E.g. a rental or other lease contract or even something like or cable TV contract
Either way, the different timing of payments is affected by the time value of money (TVM) when contract or annuities values are calculated (at both ends of the exchange)
So:
END = ‘Annuity'
BGN = 'Annuity Due'
