In the heart of the Enchanted Glen lies a castle known as Valora Keep. Unlike the imposing fortresses of neighboring lands, Valora Keep is a place of quiet serenity and unexpected beauty. It is best known not for its stone walls or towering spires, but for the heart-shaped pond that graces its front courtyard.
This pond, known as the Pond of Amoria, is said to have been formed by an ancient spell cast by a lovesick sorceress, who poured her heartache and longing into the land itself. The water is a crystalline blue, clear enough to see the pebbled bottom, where schools of shimmering fish weave through the roots of lilies. These lilies, pale pink and white, bloom in profusion, their fragrance perfuming the air, mingling with the faint scent of honeysuckle from the surrounding hedges.
Legend has it that during the full moon, the pond’s surface reflects not only the moon and stars but also fleeting glimpses of the past—memories of long-forgotten lovers who once wandered these lands, their laughter and whispers rippling through time. Many who have gazed into its depths have seen visions of those they hold dear, or of future moments yet to come.
