The Last Blade 2 has only ever been ported to two systems: Dreamcast and PlayStation 2. Neither of them have an animated introduction.
Here is footage of the "original" Kojiroh in action. SNK added him into the PSX port of the first game, and as you can see, he plays identically to Washizuka, and doesn't look much different, either. On the other hand, he plays nothing like LB2 Kojiroh, who is his little sister.
Just to prove the point, notice the look of the select screen, as well as the stage itself... both those of LB1, not LB2. This is the same game from which the animated intro comes.
I know the speed on this video is awful. Unfortunately, my PC died (fried mobo), so I'm stuck using a slower one, which doesn't take too kindly to video capture and PSX emulation at the same time. The game itself isn't normally this slow, and I'm not really trying to do much beyond show what he looks like. I disabled the XA sound in ePSXe to make things easier to hear, though, so you can tell he sounds different, too.
