Fixing a Ballfield and Maintaining the Grounds with Ventrac
We partnered with a local Ventrac dealer to restore an abandoned community ballfield and transform it into a safe, welcoming space for kids to play. We began by using the Ventrac Power Rake to break up the hard-packed ground, remove overgrown weeds, and clear rocks. The Ballpark Groomer and Renovator leveled the field with the Cocoa Mat Drag, giving it a professional finish. The results created a perfect clean edge between the infield and the turf. We also added new slide-safe material to the infield to ensure safety for the young players.
For the outfield, we revitalized the turf using the AERA-vator and seedbox attachment, which helped increase germination rates by loosening the soil and applying 300 lbs of grass seed to create a lush, green playing surface. Watch as this once-neglected ballfield is brought back to life, ready for the community to enjoy once more!
