Title: The Art of Jetpack Navigation Component by Pavel Strelchenko
Two years ago on Google I/O we've been introduced to the new solution for handling navigation in Android apps — Jetpack Navigation Component library. There are a lot of talks and articles about small apps and tiny examples, but almost no information about problems you may encounter if you want to transfer your really big app's routing logic on Navigation Component.
In his talk Pavel will show you several cases which can cause some problems when you want to try out this library:
-Navigation in the modularized app
-Navigation into nested navigation graphs and back
-BottomNavigationView cases
-Deep links handling
-Fragment containers, dialogs
Title: Let's talk CameraX by Pavel Sliusar
Working with a camera on Android is not that easy. Complicated life cycle, strict contract, long initialization, threads ... all of this. It would seem that we will live with this forever, but ...
CameraX is for the rescue! Simplified, unified and predictable API. All complexities are hidden under the hood, without headaches.
The first alpha version was released a year ago. Let's see what progress the library has made in a year, from alpha to beta. We'll figure out how to analyze an image from a mobile camera for machine analysis.
