This Is MY Senior Media Final, the last video i get to make with good cameras for a while. :(
FACTS ABOUT VIDEO-

To start with, the main concept was a parody of sorts, an endless looping movie trailer world.
The only direction I gave Jennifer was "you're Jennifer" to which she said "I agree!" And to her credit she played herself spot on!
Kyle dramatically 'yeet'd' himself out of the way several time, he was awesome.
everybody's full of ideas.
Chris actually got hit in the head by that ball by big Jesse, if you slow down the footage we actually hit Chris a lot with the toy balls. It looked real. Sorry Chris.
He was also great.
We asked Chris's little brother Levi if he wanted to be on camera as "asshole team-mate #2", he said no, then we asked him if he wanted to pretend to kick Chris for this video, to which he said yes. He was actually kicking Chris (sorry Chris!)
KIARA WAS GREAT, FIRST TIME ACTRESS, FABULOUS. I think she did a fantastic job crafting that look of her happiness turning to anger.
The second half of the video after the guitar smashing, was made on my last day available to edit it all together, the wifi was out, so I was limited to what sound effect we had from older videos, that's why Anna fires from her fingers and a ray gun sound comes out, and why I used the same song from Mariachi.
My dad played the bartender, & also played the top of the head for gay guitar boy's Spanish dad, I got the idea from somewhere to just turned his chair around and dubbed over his voice (which I thought made the best character in the video.) so he could also play the bartender, cause why cast two people when i can save time
The Spanish was from a translation website because I wasn't getting what I wanted from Google translate, Shocking. Tragically, I don't speak Spanish (yet!) I hope it's understandable but I had a hidden Spanish message along the lines of "Hey cool you know Spanish?! Isn't it cool we are both friends on this joke?"
About that scene, where Anna shoots the serial killer for stabbing Josh (btw Josh was also in tremendous pain from hurt ribs, but he threw himself at the wall anyway; great dedication) that was the last thing I shot before I had to edit it because the damn thing was due the next day. But the shot right after wards where Anna walks through the door was the first thing I ever recorded for the video, I wanted to knock it out during class while I still had time.
Finally this was going to be much longer, Dave was going to have a song number, the camera chases Dave, and he meets up with the Adobe wizard's, and they work together to end the painful endless cycle of shitty movie trailers, going really off the walls like "Too Many Cooks." I think Dave the movie was what capped it from getting too crazy like what I would have done given more time to work on it.
as to the title, I've always appreciated brutal honesty, so yes, it was 4:20 on purpose.
