Neviges [ˈneːvɪɡəs] is a district of Velbert in the Mettmann district in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany, which is formed by the titular town of Neviges and numerous outlying towns. Until 1974, Neviges was an independent town in the Düsseldorf-Mettmann district. Neviges currently has 18,516 inhabitants (as of June 10, 2020).[1]
