Overtightened or glued threads? - A simple but genius solution
When you can't unscrew something and you just need a little more grip strength then this trick may come in handy and get you back on track.
By increasing the surface area you're gripping and giving your wrench/pliers something to grip into then it gives much better chance of removing the stuck part, it also means you're less likely to damage anything in the process.
