WHO AM I:
I'm Huib, a former student-athlete from the Netherlands that played at Marist College and Long Island University. I came to the US to play soccer/football and study. I played Division 1 with both Universities and won 2x championships along the way. I was named Defender of the Year in my last year and came close to signing a professional contract in the US. Before coming to the US, I had no idea about how the process of finding a school worked, I had no idea about the professional soccer world and no idea about how to get a job in the US after college, so I want to share my experience with fellow students who are struggling.
