Project Zomboid | Clarice Zeller #3 | The Final Chapter: A Grim Farewell
In this episode of our Project Zomboid journey with Clarice Zeller, we set out to the bookstore to gather any forgotten books, focusing on finding Carpentry 4 for our future plans. However, things took a drastic turn when the power went out, forcing us to hunt for a generator. In the meantime, we grabbed a grill for emergency cooking, though figuring out how to use it required a quick look-up.
Determined to improve our carpentry skills, we continued working on leveling up, inching closer to level 6. Along the way, we attempted to find a decent car in the area, eventually settling on one that was less than ideal. Unfortunately, we accidentally triggered a car alarm, drawing unwanted attention, so we had to make a quick escape.
The daily chore of purifying water continued, and while searching through one of the houses, we got a real scare. A zomboid seemed to come out of nowhere, resulting in a scratch. We cleared out more zomboids from the area, but as it grew late, we decided to retreat and call it a night.
But then, disaster struck the following morning. Clarice woke up feeling queasy—a dreaded sign. With an 8% chance of infection, we once again hit the unfortunate jackpot. Realizing the inevitable, we focused on making her last moments as comfortable as possible. In a somber farewell, Clarice Zeller gazed out at the fields one last time before meeting her end with a 12-gauge salute.
After surviving 22 days out of our goal of 365, this marks the end of Clarice's journey in Project Zomboid. Stay tuned for the next chapter in our survival saga.
