Learn to play the game without allowing the game to play you. Your talent is a tool, your uniqueness is a gift. Too much compromising with the algorithm, charts and numbers can drive a wedge between you and your audience. If you’re in it for the money, cool. But if your purpose for creating is to express your true self it’s best to put forth the effort to connect instead of portraying a false image for likes and sales.
