"This world is stained to black. Dyed down through every crack."
In celebration of Keeno's 2nd album, "Before Light" (delayed in release till September orz), I tried to make English lyrics to the one Keeno song that's always stuck in my head, Crack.
To me, Crack is about how the world affects all of us. How we give up things because the world sees it as wrong. How we're not supposed to cry because the world sees it as weak. How even though we feel like we're drowning, we're not supposed to show it. Sometimes, we don't even realize how the world affects us. And in such a cracked up world, how are we supposed to live?
I put a lot of thought into the translation of the original lyrics and tried my best to keep the meaning as close as possible. I added my own thoughts to the meaning and kinda gave my own resolution to this song. Thank you to everyone who helped me with brainstorming lyrics, mixing, and everything in between!
