Another fishing video @Russian Australia. This time it's in English.
I'd like to share my Halloween Monster carp. I caught it on the 31 of October. It's my 1st Karkarook Lake carp. Previously, I only had trouts and reddies from there.
Aussies do not recognise carp as edible. I know eating Mealworms the way Nicole Kidman does is way better. However, personally, I prefer eating carps. Depends though on the water where it's taken from. You know, muddy water adds bad flavour. Unfortunately, fresh waters are often muddy in Australia. And that's probably how carp got its bad reputation.
Karkarook Lake water is good enough for me, it's see through. Even so, carp is not for everyone. I understand. Hey, but what about its caviar? Caviar is not only delicious, it's very beneficial for your health. Check its Nutritional value at one of many health sites. My carp was full of eggs. Caviar itself would be around 2 kilos. Just put it on a frying pan and cook until it is red.
Let's have a look at my fishing setup. Worms work well for every freshwater fish. Apparently Nicole Kidman would be very interested too. A piece of bread here is just a marketing strategy. There's no hook inside.
My camera is not waterproof, I had to switch it off during the rain. I switched it back on when the carp was already hooked.
