Jacqueline Kennedy arriving to a thunderous welcome in neutral Cambodia next door to South Vietnam for a visit she has dreamt about since girlhood. The scene at Pochentong Airport was a rainbow as Mrs. Kennedy stepped from the plane on to a plush red carpet covered with jasmine blossoms and lined with Cambodian women and girls dressed in long, multi-colored skirts and white blouses. A court attendant held a big green parasol over Prince Sihanouk and Mrs. Kennedy when they walked toward a black limousine and then drove to the palace.
