What is Mobilization advance in construction?
Mobilization advance is a payment made by the client (PWD, CPWD, NHIDCL, NHAI, and other department of private client) to the contractor for the initial expenses of starting the work, such as setting up the site, procuring materials, and hiring staff. It is usually 10% of the contract price and requires a bank guarantee of 110% of the value of each installment of the advance.
