Sometimes, a sudden death, a divorce, or a bankruptcy leaves us by the wayside and we say: "This is as far as I go." We are in that intermediate land where time seems to stand still; exhausted and with an urgent need for rest. Not a physical rest, but a spiritual solace. And it is on those occasions that it is okay to stay in the rear to rest, trusting in His Word, while we take care of the 'baggage' of those on the front line of battle. Let us remember that being part of the Lord's backup army is also a high calling in Jesus Christ.
