It's annoying when you're changing the tip of your pyrography pen and the connector breaks, damaging the screw threads and not tightening. Often, the connector even breaks.
With this in mind, I made a video with the solution to this problem. In this video, you'll see a step-by-step guide on how to build your own pyrography pen with a strong and long-lasting infinite connector.
It's a sustainable pen made with readily available recyclable materials.
For the body of the pen, we'll reuse an old broom handle.
For the ends, which will also become the connectors, we'll use a TIG welding rod or motorcycle tire spokes. We'll also need two 1.5mm or 2mm screws with nuts.
If you want to make new tips, use an electric shower resistor or 1mm thick nickel-chrome wire. To connect the pen to the pyrography handle, we'll use old connectors known as sindal connectors.
