How to Create a Custom Agentforce Agent (Builder Demo) | Dreamforce 2024
This demo shows how to build a custom Agentforce agent from idea to autonomous operation using Agent Builder. Follow along as we describe the agent’s job in natural language, review Agentforce’s auto-suggested topics and actions drawn from Customer 360 metadata, and wire those actions to existing business logic like Flows and Apex. You’ll see how Agentforce turns instructions into guardrails, auto-generating rules and suggested prompts, and how to declare channels (Slack or a Flow) so agents can act in the background or inside conversations. The walkthrough includes a record-triggered Flow example: a travel-expense record invokes the agent, the agent reviews the expense, and Slack notifies the employee with the outcome. This tutorial demonstrates testing and refinement in Agent Builder.
