Let's visit a property of the medellin cartel, the hotel "posada alemana" owned by carlos lehder, as seen in the narcos series, the house where carlos lehder was finally captured in 1987. He was the right hand of pablo escobar. We did not visit the home of pablo escobar.
Afterwards we also went to Valle del Cocora & Salento before heading back to Pereira.
in 1975 he joined forces with Pablo Escobar, being the right-hand if not the actual most important person of the Medellin Cartel. Without him the Cartel would not had the necessary knowledge to enter and traffic into the country that consumes the most drugs in the world, the United States. He is the co-founder of the Medellin Cartel
Carlos Lehder was released from prison on June 16, 2020 and lives now back in Germany. His new home is in Berlin, Germany.
In the 1980s he set up a country hotel called La Posada Alemana. In February 1987, Carlos Lehder was captured during a party right at this place.
