In this video, I talk about Lughnasadh (pronounced LOO-nuh-suh), which is also known as Lammas (pronounced LAH-muss). I talk about their significance in the Witch's Wheel of the Year.
Incidentally, Lughnasadh, as well as Lammas, are known as the "Pagan Thanksgiving," because it is the first of the Harvest Festivals, and a time of expressing Gratitude for the Holy Harvest. In modern, non-agricultural times, It is an opportunity to look at how much one has accomplished since the previous Samhain, the Witch's New Year.
In this video, I talk about some of the popular Rituals and activities during Lughnasadh/Lammas, as well as its connection to both the Sun and the Sun-Sign Leo.
