Terraria 1.3 Ultimate Top ranger weapon Test
We put the SDMG, Vortex Beater, chaingun, xeno popper, Phantasm, and Tsunami to the test!
So looking at the DPS from the targets, the Space dolphin Machine Gun is superior to all the others by quite a bit. BUT when a group was added, the vortex beater became a very close second. Against King Slime, the dps on the Phantasm was 200ish higher then before, sadly the fight doesn't last long enough for the Phantasm to show its true power( fire rate increases the longer you hold). This also doesn't show different ammo. I can safely say that a
SDMG W/ Chl. Bullets and the
Phantasm W/Ichor Arrows
are roughly equal, depending on the enemy. YES I KNOW I DIDN"T INCLUDE ROCKETS!!! (I feel as though the snowball cannon is still tied for the best in that one due to homing rockets, but less DPS so take your pick :P)
