Empty LA - Visual Short | 2020
In late March of this year, I saw from my apartment the uneasy stillness that swept over my city. Distanced, and masked, I set out to record the landmarks of the city.
Then the footage sat on a drive as history played out in real time. I didn’t know how or in what capacity to release what I had captured. Then I showed it to my roommate Milo who encouraged me to send it to him so he could take a stab at composing something for it. Safe to say he breathed new life into the piece and gave me a second wind to share it with you.
Times are still changing, people are still struggling, but there was a time we all agreed to keep each other safe. Let’s do it again, so we can be together again.
