Application of PREMARK® thermoplastic road marking on old marking
PREMARK® preformed thermoplastic can be applied on another old PREMARK® road marking sign. Thereby, you can refresh and old worn out markings, or change the sign and speed limit like System Sud is doing in Italy here.
When applying a PREMARK road marking on an old marking, then you should clean the ground/old markings; make sure loose parts of old marking are removed; preheat the old marking; layout the new PREMARK® road sign and then apply heat to secure good bonding between the new and the old marking. At last, post sprinkle the new marking with drop-on material.
