Podcast Editing Basics with Audacity: Part 3: Importing and Exporting
This video review importing. In Audacity, audio files can be added through using the File menu and selecting Import. After selecting the file, Audacity asks if the safer (make a copy) or faster (edit original) options should be used. Once imported, the audio can be edited.
This video also explains exporting. Once finished editing, a project can be exported (combined into a single stereo file) through the File menu and then Export. Different file formats and their options can be chosen before finally deciding to enter metadata or not.
