Jay Cutler (born August 3, 1973, in Worcester, Massachusetts, USA) is an American bodybuilder and four-time Mr. Olympia (2006, 2007, 2009, 2010).

As a child, Jay worked in his father's construction site and his brother's business, which likely influenced him as a bodybuilder—Cutler learned long and hard work. During his school years, Jay traveled a lot and changed schools frequently. He never suffered from a lack of attention and was quite popular. In high school, Jay played professional American football. After graduating from high school in 1991, he attended Quinsigamond Community College and earned an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice. Since Jay didn't participate in college sports, he began pursuing bodybuilding independently and soon achieved considerable results.

Jay Cutler's first athletic achievement was winning the Iron Bodies Invitational in 1993. This was followed by victories at the NPC Teen National Bodybuilding Championship in 1993; the NPC U.S. Tournament of Champions in 1995; and the NPC U.S. Men's National Bodybuilding Championship in 1996, the same year he earned his Pro Card.

Since 1996, Cutler has been competing persistently as a professional. Jay Cutler's first success came in 2000 at the Night of Champions competition, where he took first place, beating out larger athletes like Paul Dillet and Markus Ruhl! Jay also tried his hand at the 2000 Mr. Olympia for the second time, finishing eighth.

His real breakthrough came at the 2001 Mr. Olympia, where he finished second, leading the points tally until Ronnie managed to snatch the victory from 28-year-old Jay Cutler at the last minute. Many consider this victory controversial. Jay entered the 2002 Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic and won confidently!
2003 is considered by many to be the year of Jay Cutler! He won the 2003 Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic and the 2003 Ironman Pro Invitational for the second time. Then he won the 2003 San Francisco Pro Invitational. Such successes don't happen by chance. And this became clear to many!

The following year, 2004, Cutler could only compete in the Olympia. And if that had happened, the history of our sport might have had to be rewritten. Imagine a whole year of preparation! However, Cutler couldn't miss the Arnold Classic. The 2004 Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic saw him take first place. Then came the 2004 Olympia, with new rules that were supposed to help other athletes get closer to Ronnie Coleman. The result of the 2004 Mr. Olympia: second place and three points lost to Ronnie Coleman, the 7x Mr. Olympia!

In 2005, Cutler was preparing exclusively for the Olympia! He promised to improve his weak points, particularly his back! He succeeded, but Ronnie remained untouchable on his way to his 8th title! For a long time, Cutler placed second to Ronnie Coleman in Mr. Olympia competitions, four times. It wasn't until 2006 that Cutler finally won!!!
Mr. Olympia 2006 - 1st place!!! Jay Cutler defeats Ronnie Coleman! Mr. Olympia 2007 - 1st place. A very controversial victory. Most people think Victor Martinez was robbed of this tournament! Mr. Olympia 2008 - 2nd place. Mr. Olympia 2009 - 1st place and in the best shape of his career! Olympia 2010" - 1st place. Jay defeats his best friend Phil Heath. For Cutler, this was already the 4th victory in the Mr. Olympia tournament! "Mr. Olympia 2011" - 2nd place. Time goes by, Cutler was already 38 years old at that time, and he had previously stated that he was going to compete only until he was 32-33 years old. Why? It turns out that Cutler is afraid for his health. Here is a quote: "Staying healthy after 10-15 years of competing," he says, "is an achievement for a pro even cooler than winning the Olympia..... In 2011, Cutler gets a torn left biceps. As a result, Jay lost to Phil Heath. At the "Mr. Olympia 2013" - after a year's break, Jay took 6th place.
