Welcome to part 3 of our Reddit clone using Ruby on Rails 6. In this web app tutorial we will add upvotes and downvotes to post. We will use AJAX to make the request to upvote or downvote a post. We will use javascript to update the score of each post in real time. Update ordering of posts based on score (difference between upvotes and downvotes).
We will add karma to user accounts, allowing them to gain points for posts that have good engagement. Karma will be displayed on the navigation area along with the user's profile.
