"My Voice, Our Equal Future" was the theme of this year's International Day of the Girl, which took place on Sunday the 10th of October.
On a whim, I invited women following me on twitter and Instagram to share a treasured childhood photo, something that celebrates who they were as a child and the fortitude it took for them to become who they are today.
