The Northland Pines Schools District created this promotional video to help reflect some of the unique learning opportunities our district has to offer. We hope that this will assist families or individuals moving into our area learn more about our top-notch schools, outstanding staff, and exceptional students so that they can make an educated and comfortable decision in sending their children to school here. The Northland Pines School District is located in northern Wisconsin and includes the townships of Cloverland, Conover, Eagle River, Land O' Lakes, Lincoln, Plum Lake, St. Germain and Washington in Vilas County and also a small portion of Newbold in Oneida County. The school district covers 474 square miles. The 4K-12th grade enrollment is approximately 1,400 students.
The district includes four buildings:
• High School, constructed 2006
• 4K-5, Land O' Lakes, constructed 1997
• 4K-5, St. Germain, constructed 1997
• 4K-8, Eagle River, constructed 1994
Strong curriculum offerings, above state average test scores, state-of-the-art technology, many academic and co-curricular opportunities and an excellent staff define the Northland Pines School District. Vilas County is the home of the world's largest inland chain of 28 lakes and has the world's highest concentrations of inland freshwater lakes, including over 1,300 lakes and 73 rivers and streams great for fishing and leisure activities. There are over 500,000 acres of public forest lands open for hiking, biking, hunting, scenic driving, or wildlife watching adventure. Eagle River is also billed as the "Snowmobile Capital of The World."
