On a Saturday afternoon at our Singapore office, we had West Indies cricket legend Brian Lara to experience the Rotimatic first hand. Excited to have used a technology marvel, he was excited to use the Rotimatic and relish the rotis that it prepared. The entire Rotimatic and Zimplistic crew were caught gushing and blushing at his presence as you can see in the video.
We shared our love for rotis with our favourite cricketer of all time, and he seemed to be quite knowledgeable about the Indians' love for the staple food. He likened the Rotimatic with legendary basketball player Michael Jordan's "cruise control" comment, which made us go over cloud nine with utmost happiness. At the end, he was also sweet enough to autograph a Rotimatic unit for us, which we have it as a souvenir at our Singapore office mantelpiece.
