Racerstar BR0703 10000kv thrust test
Testing Racerstar BR0703 10000KV motor on the thrust stand.
Tested with:
Batteries: 1S and 2S, with total capacity of approx. 1100mAh, 25C
ESC: Turnigy MultiStar Race Spec 7A BLHeli-S ESC 1~2s (https://goo.gl/M8I9BC)
Tested props (all are 2 blade props):
Hubsan 55mm prop
JJRC1000 55mm prop
Ladybird 56mm prop
"Ebay" 60mm prop
Kingkong 65mm prop
Hubsan 55mm cut to 50mm
"Ebay" 60mm cut to 50mm
Results:
For 1S operation I would recommend Kingkong 65mm props. They showed best thrust and efficiency results. Motor is underpowered with smaller props.
For 2S operation the biggest recommended prop diameter is 50mm. All bigger props make motor overheat. Thrust test with 55mm propeller ended in motor getting too hot after 5 seconds.
