Forsaken Shores Expansion - Update 1.05.0
Main Content
Forsaken Shores: Explore a whole new island that was settled by suspiciously friendly pirates, following a disaster that wrecked their fleet. Assist the Captain in his ambitions of re-building his ship by bribing him non-stop to get treasure chest coordinates upon fishing out a map. Caution is advised however, as pirates are unpredictable by nature.
Treasure Hunt: Obtain a treasure map while fishing to unlock various hidden rewards, such as rare baits; limited chest bobbers; a Fillionaire scratch-card (what?); tons of XP, Totems, a new plethora of mutated fish that sell for 8x their worth, and most importantly - the new Sunken Rod, with a unique passive ability.
Nuclear Annihilation: Players now have an insanely rare chance of fishing a long forgotten nuclear bomb that was thought to be de-activated. Choose to store the Nuke by completing the skill check the moment you fish it, or detonate the bomb and reap the unexpected rewards. Detonating the bomb either voluntary or involuntary will impact the area of effect, granting the Nuclear mutation to all fish in the affected area for 30 minutes. Nuclear fish sell for 3x their average price. It is advised to store the nuke and use it to stack traits while popping 4Xs or during Aurora to enjoy the best possible rewards from it's use.
Limited Bobbers (Cosmetic): Available in the store for a limited amount of time only, pick between purchasing 3 individual bobbers, or the entire pack at a discounted price. We've added a way to purchase this pack with C$ for F2P players. These bobbers provide no in-game advantages, and are purely cosmetic.

11 New Species: The Forsaken Shores expansion includes 11 new fish species, including 2 new mythicals & 2 new legendaries;
Bestiary Bobber: Players can unlock the Skull Bobber - a progression exclusive bobber for completing the Forsaken Shores bestiary;
3 New Mutations: This update includes three new mutations: Sunken, Nuclear & Hexed;
Gifting: You can now gift gamepasses to your friends. We've added a gift icon in the store next to each individual gamepass to make it easier to identify the gifting process;
Leaderboards: This update includes the addition of two new leaderboards, one for the highest fish streak, and another for the most treasure chests discovered;
Forsaken Easter Egg: Complete a puzzle within the Forsaken Islands under specific weather and conditions to unlock the beginning of a new storyline.
Patch Notes + Anti-Cheat
Nerfed Sea Mine chances;
Fixed issues with placing multiple Crab Cages;
Fixed specific issues regarding Bestiary completions (including some fish not being able to be fished);
Fixed an issue where you would sometimes hit a kill brick when going down to the Altar;
Data has been fully migrated to ProfileService, allowing for reliable saving & loading of data, as well as voiding any security breaches regarding exploits reliant on Session Lock;
Catch Flags are turned off by default to save on FPS. Turn it on from the menu;
Various optimization efforts were made, especially to players in late-game who lag from having too many fish stored in their inventory;
Implemented basic anti-duping measures to mitigate duping volume, making it significantly harder for exploiters to conduct business while we
work on a permanent fix;

Implemented basic anti-cheat in an attempt to stop the vast majority of exploits. Exploit owners will need to put in actual effort to exploit on Fisch, and while still possible, it should be a lot harder now;
Exploiters can no longer farm crab cages at an excessive rate, nor can they try other methods of desync and/or network manipulation;
A total of 424,693 users suspected of using cheats have been issued data resets and/or temporary 7 day bans from the game.
