Howdy Ghosts and Ghouls!
I really love the look of 19th-century masculine clothing and accessories, and especially the loungewear! So of course I wanted to make a lounging cap (interchangeably called a smoking hat) to keep my head warm during these weird temperature shifts in California.

The pattern is literally a circle and a long rectangle both of which should be sized to your head, I recommend making the rectangle 3-3 1/2 inches tall since these hats seemed to be rather short on the head, but it's really a matter of personal preference. The lining needs to be a smidge smaller since mine kept coming out too big and I had to pleat the excess down in the back of the inside. This is a great project for scraps since you don't need much to make the hat, and I highly recommend trying your hand at tassel making! Additionally, I might make a few of these to sell on Etsy or ko-fi, but we will see.
