Hello and welcome to the BaryWoll YouTube channel! In this video, I'll show you how to knit a super comfortable and stylish hat using the BaryWoll Cotton Merino Light collection. This easy knitting project is suitable for both beginners and experienced knitters. Free pattern.
Materials:
1 ball of BaryWoll Cotton Merino Light: https://barywoll.de/collections/cotto...
3.00 mm circular knitting needles: https://barywoll.de/collections/stric...
Teaching needle & scissors
We'll knit the hat in the classic 1x1 rib pattern. This rib pattern is not only easy to knit but also ensures a perfect fit and elasticity. The hat is worked from the bottom up, and we'll show you step by step how to decrease and sew the hat together at the end.
Why Cotton Merino Light?
This wonderful blend of cotton and merino wool feels soft and light, perfect for cooler days. It will keep you warm without being too heavy and is also incredibly comfortable against the skin.
Step by step, we will:
Cast on 92 stitches using a flexible cast-on
Knit in 1x1 ribbing until the hat measures 23 cm (9 inches) in height
Decrease the stitches and gather the hat for a neat finish
This hat is a great project for when you're on the go or for a cozy knitting evening at home. Grab your knitting needles and let's knit together!
