The Bus in the Sky - The Story of Holograms and Space Stations
One of the first space stations was supposedly only slightly larger than a normal bus and could still be photographed back then.
If anyone knows of any photos of the Russian space station Mir against the sun, please forward them to me.

(The projector projects the singer's video from the railing onto a reflective surface on the stage floor, where it reflects the light and image back onto a mirrored foil tilted at a 45-degree angle, which projects the image into the audience.)
