DPN: Pendulum (Short Film)
In this continuous shot short film, we follow two extremely intelligent individuals discussing the reasoning and cause behind space and time. Elliot attempts to prove his superiority and intelligence but is constantly shot down by Isaac's egotistical but yet, unmotivated, personality. Elliot pushes to see something great come out of his friend because he knows what Isaac is capable of if he ever puts forth the effort.
What can I say about this one. Maybe, huge challenge! I knew from the beginning it was going to be a continuous shot and after that, it was all up to the design. I could not thank my cast and crew enough. Sure, we had a few problems. But we did what we can in the little time we had and experience/equipment as well. But for the first time ever even attempting this, we could not be prouder. If you guys wish, I could put together a short directors commentary or an article talking about what went into it. Because in conclusion, this was by far the most professional set I've not only directed, but also been apart of. Now, what's next.
