You must apply for a Singapore tourist visa through an authorized travel agent or a local Singapore resident. It costs about ₹2500 and the visa validity ranges from 1 month to 2 years.

➡️How to Reach Singapore
🚢Cruise: There are cruises available from India but they can be a little expensive.
🛬Flights: You can get direct flights to Singapore from most cities. From Delhi, it took me around 20k INR for a return flight by Vistara. The flight journey was around 5.5 hours and included meals, drinks, entertainment, and more.

At the airport, you’ll find plenty of SIM options. I chose the Singtel $15 hi!Tourist 2-in-1 SIM, which gives 100GB for 28 days, 3GB roaming (Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand), and $3 stored value to use on MRT and buses.
💵Forex Card or Cash or Credit Card
If your credit or debit card is enabled for international payments, you can use it almost everywhere. You can also get SGD cash in India through BookMyForex.
➡️How to Travel in Singapore
🚇Metros - Singapore is well-connected with MRT stations and it can cost you up to 2 SGD to reach a destination.
🚍Buses - Singapore also has a good bus network and the charges are similar to metro travel but it will take you longer to reach a destination.
🚕Cabs - Of course, cabs are expensive and you can expect to pay around 20 SGD for a 10-15 km distance.
Expect to spend around 500-1000 INR on transportation every day.
🛏️Where to Stay in Singapore
🏨Hotels - The cost of the hotels depends on when you are visiting but expect to spend around 2500-3500 INR per person for a night.
🛌Hostels - Hostels are not cheap in Singapore so expect to spend around 1500-2500 INR per night here.
🍲Where and What to Eat in Singapore
Bugis: Street food for ≤ 8 SGD, tasty and filling.
Hawker Centres: Cheap local meals for 5–15 SGD.
Malls: Fast-food options like McD/Starbucks for 10–20 SGD.
Restaurants: Expect 30–40 SGD per person or more.
🛍️Shopping in Singapore
Now, shopping in Singapore is not particularly cheap unless you are visiting Bugis Street, Chinatown, and similar places.

Singapore has plenty of attractions, most costing ₹800–₹3500. Some activities like iFLY indoor skydiving are pricier but worth it. Here are a few I recommend:

Budget travelers using public transport and eating mindfully can expect ₹1.5–2 lakh for 2 people on a 2-week trip. For a more relaxed trip, plan around ₹1–1.2 lakh per person for 7 days.
