"Q: What is Project Contingency?
A:Project Contingency is a fan made, free to play halo game using the CryEngine 3.
Q: How much will the game cost?
A: The game is 100% free, there will be no costs associated with playing it. We want to stay away from money as much as possible. We currently are not accepting donations.
Q: When will the game be released?
A: Unfortunately its a little bit early for us to announce anything, however trust us when we say we are working tirelessly to bring you this as soon as possible. Feel free to subscribe to our newsletter for updated information on the game.
Q: What exactly was the purpose of the trailer then?
A: We have multiple reasons for showing off our content so early on. Firstly we are in need of developers, and we cant really have people join us, if they don't know we exist! Also, we would like to hear what you think about the game thus far, or if you have any ideas for what could be added to it. Feel free to communicate with us through the forums!
Q: The project's codename is "Contingency", does this mean the actual name will be different?
A: Yes, Contingency is a code name we have for the project (and actually the trailer!). The official name will be announced at a later date.
Q: Where are all the game assets coming from and who are they being created by?
A: All game assets are being made from scratch by our team of talented developers, nothing external, and absolutely no "ripped" or "stolen" assets from other games As a warning to any developers considering joining, submitting any ripped/stolen/taken/borrowed content will immediately result in removal from the team, this is about creativity, not theft. "
