James McCaffreys role in Rescue Me:
In Rescue Me, he plays the role of Jimmy Keefe. Being Tommy's cousin and best friend, he is the person closest to Tommy's heart. He died before the start of the series. He lost his life while saving people in the September 2001 terrorist attacks. He appears as a Ghost in Tommy's dreams and often helps him find solution to his problems.
